And it’s the sudden urge to plow down a pulled pork sandwich which ruins a day of clean living.
So…why get tempted when you can use these 3 savvy tips to beat the temptation troll and continue to shed belly fat.
- When you jet out of the house in a rush, make sure you have a handful of nuts or almonds in the car. There are way too many fast food establishments (trolls) lurking about on the open road.
- Keep a water bottle at hand as much as possible. If you keep sipping water throughout the day, you will have less urges to pound down a candy bar when it’s available. Water keeps your belly full and stops hunger pains (trolls) in their tracks.
- Stock your fridge and counters with healthy snacks. It’s a smart idea to grocery shop on an full stomach right after dinner or lunch. There’s just too many tasty goodies to invade your cart when shopping on an empty stomach. And you know if they find their way in the shopping cart, they’ll find their way to your mouth.
Create your own little disaster plan for emergency situations when you might need to eat. I can’t count how many times I skipped a meal and allowed the troll of temptation to seduce me into a bag of hot wings.
